JVC BNVF714U Reviews

rated 5 out of 5 Just what I was looking for!
by M. Preitauer from Boulder, CO, 2008-11-16

This battery was exactly what I needed. It arrived just as advertised, and has been working perfectly. It is a little bulky, but lasts much, much longer than our prior battery. It was an excellent purchase, at a very good price.

works pretty good, nice to have a long battery when the other one runs off...

rated 5 out of 5 wrong size
by M. Concepcion from Miami Fl. USA, 2008-08-29

Wrong size battery , i had to return it, for the "right" battery , but the new one was defective, still waiting for the right one.

rated 2 out of 5 Don't be fooled.
by James M. Mckelvy , 2008-02-05

This battery claims to have "3 hours recording", but I, like many other people, received a brand new battery and the max time that you can use it for is usually about 2 hours. Even the camcorder projects the amount of time you'll get out of it and it never says more than 120 minutes. If you're expecting this battery to last at least 2.5 to 3 hours, you're out of luck, and you'll need to get the larger capacity, more expensive battery.

rated 3 out of 5 Is 3 hours, or really two hours
by Mr. Gadget from Orange, CA, 2008-01-08

This battery is advertised as a THREE hour battery. However, after I received the battery and gave it a full charge in-accordance-with the instruction my camera shows it as having a two hour life. It's difficult to tell how long it's lasting because my videotaping is done in short clips at a time. I'm going to buy one more battery, but this time I'll spend a little more and buy a name brand battery. There is truth in the saying you get what you pay for, lower cost equals less time. If I get around to timing the battery life with a stop watch I'll update my review.
